Third World WarBaghdad: – Al-Naba weekly, associated with the IS, has claimed that the killing of General Soleimani becomes a divine intervention, which is helpful for the terrorist organisation IS. Soleimani, the Iranian war veteran, played an essential role in increasing the Iranian influence in Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and Yemen. He has the lion’s share in the actions taken against the terrorist organisation IS. It is said that this Iranian official assisted the front formed by the United States and the European countries to defeat IS.

Therefore, Soleimani was one of the biggest enemies of the IS. A positive reaction has been received from the IS regarding the death of General Soleimani. IS Supporter weekly has praised the killing of Soleimani, without mentioning the name of the United States. The weekly has also sarcastically thanked the United States and the European countries for reducing the number of soldiers deployed to fight IS.

The article in the Al-Naba weekly said that Soleimani’s killing and the reduced military deployment would certainly help IS to rise in Syria and Iraq. This endorses the claims of the IS who is taking efforts to strengthen its presence. A few analysts from Iran and the Gulf countries had warned about this, following the killing of Soleimani.
