The Iranian government continues its crackdown as they allege foreign conspiracy behind the protests.

Protests in Iran augment furthermoreDuring one such agitation, clashes broke out between the security forces and the protesters near a place of worship in Zahedan. Although the details are yet to be verified, a few videos of clashes were released. Activists claim that Iran’s regime is taking ruthless action to crush the protests, killing more than 100 people since 30th September. This information could not be confirmed. However, it’s certain that with the incident on Friday, the local Iranian population is quite annoyed with the security establishment.

Zahedan city is in the Balochistan province of Iran, which is 500 kilometres away from the capital Tehran. The clash in Zahedan indicates to the world the extent of the spread of protests in Iran. The agitations against the hijab compulsion and the regime started in 125 cities of Iran were limited to major cities and universities. However, now it is becoming more widespread and violent. It was claimed that the educated intelligentsia of the universities was involved in expressing their dissent against the Iranian regime. However, the protests are gaining strength with support from the authoritative class of the industrial sector and other large establishments.

Iran’s decision to use harsh measures to crack down on the protests has evoked agitated responses. Human rights organizations have criticized the detention of protesters and the Iranian regime’s unfair treatment of their families. The Iranian regime has to deal with the growing discontent created by this. But the Iranian regime has alleged foreign powers are hatching a conspiracy to provoke agitation in Iran against the regime. Citing a terrorist attack near the place of worship in the Iranian city of Shiraz, which killed 15 people, the Iranian authorities have questioned the flagbearers of Human rights for being silent on the incident.

A day ago, Iran’s Supreme Leader, Imam Ali Khamenei, appealed to the security system, judiciary, and media to unite against this conspiracy against his country. This suggests that the regime has ruled out the option of discussing and negotiating with the protesters. This also indicates the convection of the Iranian regime to crush the protest by force.
