US will fight against Israeli efforts to annex West Bank

Tel Aviv: Before Benjamin Netanyahu formed the government, the US threatened the future prime minister of Israel over the West Bank issue. If Netanyahu’s government tries to annex the entire West Bank or even a small part of it to Israel, the US will fight against them, US Ambassador to Israel Tom Nides has warned. At the same time, the ambassadors of the United States have also made statements indicating that a lot will happen in the next six months.

Just a few hours ago, Israeli President Isaac Herzog invited Benjamin Netanyahu to form a government. Besides, Netanyahu, the to-be Prime Minister of Israel, assured that he would serve as the Prime Minister of every Israeli citizen. Netanyahu announced that he would respect the opinions of the opposition. Nevertheless, major countries, including Israel, are paying attention to who gets a chance in the new government that Netanyahu is forming with strong nationalist leaders in Israel.

The US media has claimed that the leaders of the radical right group will get a place in Netanyahu’s government. If this happens, Netanyahu’s government will adopt stricter policies regarding the West Bank and annexe West Bank territory to Israel.

Moreover, American analysts have also started claiming that an aggressive stance will be adopted against Iran. Disturbed by this, the Biden administration expressed concern over this. US Ambassador to Israel Tom Nides warned Netanyahu’s incoming government while speaking to an Israeli broadcaster.

The US is eager to work with Netanyahu’s incoming government. But the stance of United States regarding West Bank is clear. The US will oppose and fight efforts to re-merge the West Bank with Israel. The Arab countries are also against it, Nides warned. If Ben Gvir gets a place in Netanyahu’s government, the US will have an independent role. Furthermore, Nides indicated that the US is opposed to the choice of Gvir.
