Islamabad: India was accused of a suicide attack in a place of worship in the vicinity of Peshawar Police Station, killing more than 100 people. Ruling party leader Maryam Nawaz has held former ISI chief Faiz Hamid responsible for the blast. The Peshawar police have taken to the street for protest and have claimed ISI to be behind the blast.

Hence there must be more to this. The opposition party in Pakistan is demanding elections. The Peshawar police have indicated that the attack was planned to avoid an election at this time. Maryam Nawaz and Peshawar police accuse former ISI chief Faiz Hamid of orchestrating the attack. As the head of ISI, Faiz Hamid had illegally supported and aided Imran Khan. He was also once the corps commander in Peshawar; hence was influential in carrying out such an attack, as claimed by Maryam Nawaz.
