Iran deploys two destroyers in Gulf of Aden; US aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln arrives in Gulf of OmanIran has believed to have made deployments considering the rising tensions with the United States and allies since the last month. Last month, the United Kingdom had taken action on the Iranian oil tanker in the Gulf of Gibraltar. The United Kingdom released the ship last week after nearly three weeks of interrogation. After that, Admiral Sayyari announced sending the destroyers for the security of the Iranian commercial ships. Iran has realised its statement with the deployment of the two warships in the Gulf of Aden.

While Iran has sent the destroyers in the Gulf of Aden, even the United States was revealed to have sent its gigantic aircraft carrier near the Iranian waters. The ‘New York Times’ has reported that the USS Abraham Lincoln was anchored 600 miles away from the Iranian Strait of Hormuz.

USS Abraham Lincoln was dispatched in the Persian Gulf in May. This aircraft carrier was sent to counter the Iranian activities in the Persian Gulf. The aircraft carrier left the Gulf of Oman to enter the Indian Ocean after ten days. Nevertheless, as per the US daily, the gigantic aircraft carrier is anchored in the region which connects the Gulf of Oman and the Indian Ocean for the last few days.

Meanwhile, the naval front which the United States had called upon against Iran, is receiving a positive response and the British and Australian warships have left for the Persian Gulf. Among them, Iran’s destroyers in the Gulf of Aden and the USS Abraham Lincoln close to the Gulf of Oman in the region are only adding to the seriousness of the situation.
