Washington – A former CIA director has claimed that he was pressured to say that leaked information about US President Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden’s laptop was part of a Russian conspiracy. This has been revealed in the information given to the parliamentary committee by the former director of the American intelligence agency, Mike Morrell. The US House of Representatives is investigating various Hunter Biden cases.

Moreover, the information about Hunter Biden’s controversial laptop came to light before the 2020 presidential election. The American newspaper ‘New York Post’ published extensive news about this. But only a few days later, other US media claimed that Hunter Biden’s laptop was part of a disinformation campaign carried out by Russia. A letter written by nearly 50 former intelligence officials was the factor behind these claims.

Besides, Mike Morrell crafted the letter and was urged to do so by Antony Blinken, who is close to Biden, Morrell told a hearing before the senate. As the US media began to paint the story of Russian propaganda, Biden appeared to have benefited from it.

After Biden was elected president, many cases related to Hunter Biden started to surface. The US Republican Party has made this issue a parliamentary committee has started a prestige issue and an investigation.
