The attack on Israel is because of US President Biden's weak policy

Washington – US President Joe Biden has declared full support to Israel after Hamas attacked Israel with thousands of rockets on Saturday. Besides, President Biden announced that the US would supply whatever was needed for Israel’s security. However, severe criticism has begun in the US that President Biden’s weak policy is the reason behind the Hamas attack on Israel. Former US President Donald Trump has criticised that during Biden’s tenure, the US weakened and its influence ended. At the same time, Trump alleged that the attack on Israel reflected the impact of President Biden’s $6 billion deal. Other US presidential candidates have also claimed that Biden’s policy has made Israel unsafe.

The Biden administration had decided to unfreeze Iran’s seized $6 billion funds in exchange for releasing detained US citizens. However, the opposition leaders criticised that once Iran receives this fund, Iran will use it against the US allies and interests in the Gulf region. Nonetheless, the Biden administration had ignored it. Also, the Biden administration had revealed that Iran will use this fund to purchase food and medicines for the Iranian people. However, Iranian President Raisi had rejected the Biden administration’s claims, declaring that Iran would have the right to decide how and where to use the US-released funds. At the same time, former US military officers and strategic analysts had warned that this policy of the Biden administration would have serious consequences ahead.

Moreover, former US officials and analysts had warned that Iran has been sent the message that they could get their demands fulfilled in return for the release of detained US citizens. Apart from this, former President Donald Trump has severely criticised the current President Biden in almost the same words after the horrific attacks by Hamas on Israel. Thus, Iran has received the message that the US has become weak and ineffective due to the weak policy of the Biden administration. Therefore, Iran-supported Hamas showed the nerve to launch such an attack on Israel. Trump targeted President Biden sharply, saying that if he were the President of the United States at present, Hamas would not have been able to attack Israel.

Other rival US presidential candidates have also targeted Biden. These leaders stated that Biden’s policy for Gulf region is responsible for this attack on Israel. Also, they have demanded that the US provide all necessary assistance to Israel by fully supporting Israel in this war.
