60 thousand victims of Coronavirus in last 90 days with over 900 million

Beijing: The coronavirus outbreak is at extremely concerning levels as 60 thousand people have died due to coronavirus since December and infections have affected nearly 900 million people. According to Peking University, 64 percent of China’s total population has been infected by Coronavirus.  According to a Chinese university report, 91 percent of the population of China’s Gansu Province is suffering from Corona and more than 80 percent of the people of Yunnan and Qinghai Province are infected with Corona.

China’s National Health Commission has announced that nearly sixty thousand people have died of Corona in China since the beginning of December. The shocking information revealed on Saturday only includes patients who died in hospitals. Corona victims who could not be admitted to the hospital and died at home are not included in this. Otherwise, the number of victims could have been much higher. But the Chinese Communist regime is making sure that the information stays hidden from the outside world. The compulsive reporting of numbers by China is enough to cause deep concern to the world.

Leading medical experts in China have also warned that the number of corona patients may increase exponentially in the rural areas of China in the next few weeks. Just last month, China’s ruling communist regime had decided to relax the Zero Covid Policy which was a major reason for discontent among the Chinese people. After the relaxation of the restrictions, the corona infection in China started to increase again. As restrictions were being eased, there were warnings from local and Western groups about the rising number of cases in China.

Zhou Jiatong, head of the Centre for Disease Control in China’s Guangxi Province, warned in an article published in the Shanghai Journal of Preventive Medicine that 2 million people could be fall victims. The Chinese researchers also attribute this situation to the slow speed of vaccination and the lack of herd immunity. The British group Airfinity warned that 13 to 21 lakh people in China will die if the corona restrictions are relaxed.

Peking University is recognized as a leading educational institution in China. Therefore, while the information of more than 90 crore patients of Corona in China is coming out in the report of this organization, the number of victims has increased enormously. The satellite company Maxar recently released satellite photographs of various cities in China. These photographs include burial grounds in the cities of Shanghai, Nanjing, Chengdu, Kunming, along with the capital Beijing. Photographs show massive overcrowding around the burial grounds. In a report given by the Washington Post, it was claimed that there was no space left in many cemeteries in China.

The spreading corona infection in China is being taken seriously at the international level. The World Health Organization (WHO) has repeatedly instructed China for transparent reporting and data sharing about the Coronavirus. Meanwhile, countries are issued travel restrictions and imposed strict testing of Chinese travellers to be tested for Corona. So far, nearly 20 major countries in the world have announced corona testing and other restrictions against travellers coming from China. It includes countries like America, Britain, Japan, South Korea, Australia.
