The Biden administration has put forward some proposals for the nuclear deal with Iran. As per reports, the deal is likely to be signed in the next few weeks. As per Israeli media, some Israeli diplomats visited Vienna on Tuesday.

Israel has not participated in the Vienna negotiations in any way. Israel has also already clarified that the nuclear deal, which does not prevent Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon, is not acceptable to Israel. Israeli leaders have warned that Israel does not want to be engaged in any agreement to stop Iran. In this scenario, the visit of Israeli diplomats to Vienna has become a topic of discussion.

Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of the US House of Representatives, reached Israel on Wednesday afternoon. Pelosi is a senior Senator from the Democrat party, accompanied by a delegation of her party on her visit to Israel. Pelosi said that the Biden administration is committed to stopping Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon.

Furthermore, in her address to the Israeli parliament, Pelosi said, ‘Relations between the United States and Israel are unbreakable as they are based on mutual security, economic interests, common values and commitment to democracy.’ On the other hand, the Biden administration is committed to creating Palestine. Pelosi announced that the aid for Palestine, which was suspended, would soon be released. Pelosi and the other Democrat members will be meeting Palestine President Mahmood Abbas for this purpose.

Israeli and the international media claim that Israel and the Biden administration are not aligned on their position and policy on the nuclear negotiations with Iran and Palestine. Israel has clarified that the proposal made by the Biden administration to Iran for the nuclear deal is unacceptable to them. The opposition leaders from the United States are opposing the decision of the Biden administration, underlining the issue of Israel’s security.

Two days ago, Lindsay Graham, leader of the US Republican party, visited Israel and met Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, Foreign Minister Yair Lapid, Defence Minister Benny Gantz and former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Graham stressed the need to build a security loop to prevent Iran’s nuclear program. Graham supported Israel’s stand that no agreement can stop Israel from taking action for self-protection. Graham also warned that efforts for the annihilation of Israel would be considered as declaring war against the United States. Israeli media pointed out that after she visited Israel, Graham proceeded on an urgent visit to Bahrain.

Meanwhile, the officials from the Biden administration are claiming that despite the nuclear deal, Iran cannot be stopped from acquiring a nuclear weapon. Robert Malley, Special Representative for Iran and Brett McGurk, Coordinator for the US National Security Council, claimed that Iran would obtain all the materials necessary to build a nuclear weapon despite the possible agreement.
