Saudi prepared for fresh talks with Iran – Iranian Foreign Minister informs

iran saudi talksTehran: – There were open talks between the Foreign Ministers of Saudi Arabia and Iran for the first time. Saudi has said it is prepared to hold further talks with Iran in the coming times. Therefore, the Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian claimed that more meetings would be held between Saudi and Iran in the coming times.

Against the background of the developments in Iraq, ‘Baghdad Conference’, an important meeting of the Arab-Islamic countries, was held. Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian and Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal Bin Farhan Al Saud participated in the meeting. During this meeting, the Saudi and Iranian Foreign Ministers held talks on certain issues. On this occasion, the Iranian Foreign Minister claimed that the talks would soon start between Saudi and Iran.   

Iran and Saudi Arabia have already raged in dispute over the controversial Iranian nuclear program. Moreover, Iran had blamed Saudi for being responsible for the protests raging in Iran for the last three months. Therefore, it was claimed that there was no possibility of talks between the two countries. But Iran has created a sensation by saying that Saudi is willing for more comprehensive talks.
