Islamabad: Some Pakistani citizens have been denied visas by Saudi Arabia, accusing them of Blasphemy. Turkey will now adopt a tougher policy for issuing visas to Pakistani citizens. Pakistan has been shocked by the decisions of its former allies, Saudi Arabia and Turkey. With Pakistani notoriety in European countries, it was already difficult for Pakistani citizens to gain access to these countries. In such a scenario, the Pakistani media claims that even the significant countries of the Islamic world have adopted a strict policy toward Pakistani citizens, which has embarrassed their country at the international level.

Saudi and Turkey to deny visas to Pakistanis involved in criminal rackets & hooliganismFor the second year in a row, Pakistan’s passport ranks 109th globally. Pakistan ranks fourth on the list of worst passports in the world. Pakistan’s passports are considered the worst after Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria. This was exposed in a report three published by the Henley Passport Index three weeks ago. Senior Pakistani journalists and the media blamed the leaders for the embarrassment.

The country’s media has lashed out that the two incidents in Turkey and Saudi Arabia last week have embarrassed Pakistan worldwide. Four Nepalese nationals were abducted at Taksim Square in Istanbul, Turkey. They were abducted by a group of six Pakistani nationals and demanded 10,000 euros for the release of Nepali nationals.

Turkish security forces took timely action and arrested the Pakistani kidnappers. Turkish security officials said they had inhumanely treated Nepali citizens. The perpetrators include Pakistanis between the ages of 16 and 35.

According to Turkish media reports, it is exposed that Pakistanis seeking entry for tourism, education or employment are involved in serious crimes in the country, which is evident from the abduction of Nepali nationals. One week ago, Pakistanis abroad staged aggressive protests against the removal of Imran Khan as Prime Minister. Turkish authorities detained the protesters. Last year, another Pakistani gang kidnapped a Pakistanis in Turkey and demanded 50,000 euros for their release.

The criminal activities of Pakistani citizens in Turkey are now coming to the fore again. The Turkish people are outraged. Last week, a trend was launched on social media by the Turkish citizens demanding that Pakistanis should be expelled and not allowed to enter Turkey. Following this, there are reports that the Turkish government will stop issuing residence permits to Pakistanis.

Like Turkey, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are cracking down on Pakistanis. Last week, Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif was on a visit to Saudi Arabia. On this occasion, he visited the place of worship in Medina. At this point, some Pakistanis chanted slogans against Prime Minister Sharif.

The Saudi authorities have taken the incident seriously and have indicated to take stern action against Pakistanis who commit such acts at the place of worship. Earlier, there were reports of Pakistani attempts to trigger riots in the UAE, Great Britain and some European countries. It was revealed that there was a big racket of the crime of Pakistani citizens in Britain. The Pakistani media is lamenting that the image of their country is being tarnished by these Pakistanis, who are involved in heinous crimes like theft, kidnapping, assault and sexual assault abroad. Pakistani media has also claimed that Pakistanis infiltrate the United States, Europe and Middle East countries, presenting fake documents. Some countries have started the process of detaining such Pakistanis and deporting them.
