Israel is crossing the 'red line' - Iran President Ebrahim Raisi

Tehran: Israeli Defence Minister Yoav Gallant announced the beginning of the next phase of the war against Hamas. In this phase, there are possibilities that Israel will increase the intensity of the ongoing attacks on Gaza. Due to this, Iran, which became restless, has given a new signal to Israel. Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi alleged that Israel’s ongoing attacks on Gaza are violating the ‘red line’. Because of this, a situation has emerged where everyone will have to take action against Israel, the Iranian President has said. The Iranian President also criticized that the United States is not stopping Israel by warning that Iran should not get involved in this war.

Iran’s head of state issued new threats to Israel during an interview with a news channel in the Middle East. Saying that Israel’s ongoing attacks on Gaza are violating all limits, President Raisi further said that Iran, along with other countries in the region, will have to take action against Israel. This is the emerging situation, he said during the interview. The Iranian President also claimed that everyone realizes that no one will dare to take military action against Iran because Iran’s military capability has increased significantly.

Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi and senior military officers had previously threatened to enter the war on the side of Hamas. If Israeli forces enter Gaza, Hezbollah’s leaders have indicated that the outfit would definitely take part in this war. As soon as Hezbollah enters this war, Iran will also enter it and then there will be an explosion in the Middle East; such concern is being expressed all over the world. To prevent this, the United States deployed its aircraft carrier in the Middle East. The United States has warned through this deployment that if Iran decides to join the war against Israel, it will have to face serious consequences.

For this reason, Iran, which is behind Hamas and Hezbollah, is not taking direct military action against Israel, say some analysts. Iran’s defence forces have launched combat exercises involving over 200 helicopters, missile launchers, tanks and several troops. Iran is claiming that this war exercise is a warning to Israel. With this, another instance of threat from the Iranian President to Israel has come to light.

However, whatever happens, Iran will not initiate military action against Israel on the strength of its power. Analysts are saying that due to Israel getting support from the United States and European countries, Iran will be able to take anti-Israel action only after getting military support from the Middle East countries along with China and Russia. However, even though the United States has warned Iran not to enter the war against Israel, Iran will not care about it, President Raisi said during this interview.
