Hamas-Israel hurl accusations at each other over Gaza hospital attack, which caused 500 deaths

Tel Aviv: The number of people killed in the attack on Gaza’s Al-Ahli hospital has reached 500. Hamas had alleged that Israel destroyed the hospital in an airstrike and killed innocent Palestinians. After this, a wave of anti-Israel anger has arisen in the Arab-Gulf countries and intense protests against Israel are taking place in these countries. However, the rocket that hit Al-Ahli Hospital was not fired by Israel. Rather, a rocket fired by Islamic Jihad to attack Israel accidentally hit this hospital and 500 people were killed, Israel has claimed. Israel has also released videos and photos giving evidence of this. The audio of the conversation between two terrorists has also been made public by Israel as evidence.

A rocket hit Gaza’s Al-Ahli hospital just as US President Joe Biden entered Israel. The attack is reported to have occurred at around 7 p.m. on Tuesday local time. However, the Israeli military officer has shown through a video that this devastation was caused not by Israel’s air strike but by the rocket fired by the terrorist organisation Islamic Jihad hitting the hospital. In a phone conversation, two terrorists had also admitted that the rocket that hit the hospital was theirs. The audio of their conversation has also been made public by Israeli defence officials. By giving this evidence that Israel is not behind the attack on this hospital, Israel does not carry out such attacks, this officer claimed.

Meanwhile, the attack on Al-Ahli Hospital has been heard worldwide, and major countries have expressed their deepest condolences. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi said this attack has dealt us a big blow. Expressing condolences to the families of those killed in this attack, Prime Minister Modi prayed that those injured in this attack should recover as soon as possible. He also expressed concern over innocent people killed in the war. Moreover, the Prime Minister of India has demanded that strict action be taken against those responsible for killing innocent civilians.

While raising this demand, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi stayed away from holding Israel responsible for this attack. US President Joe Biden, who is visiting Israel, has also stated that it is not Israel but another team behind the attack on Al-Ahli Hospital. After this attack, Iran has called for the Islamic countries to impose sanctions on Israel. Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi has warned that the flames of the attack on this hospital will soon surround Israel and the United States. Iranian media are also alleging a US conspiracy behind the attack on Al-Ahli hospital. Meanwhile, Russia’s Foreign Ministry has demanded that Israel present evidence to prove that Israel did not attack the hospital in Gaza.
