Fresh sanctions to be imposed against Iran if nuclear deal fails

London/Paris: The United States attempted to save the Iran nuclear deal with fresh negotiations at Doha in Qatar. But the United States accused that the talks failed because of the Iranian aggression. The European countries meditating in the talks also have been upset with Iran. The British foreign ministry pointed out that all the possible avenues for taking action against Iran are open now as the negotiations have failed. France and Germany have also suggested that Iran reduce the speed of its nuclear program.

Moreover, the Biden administration proposed fresh indirect talks in Doha, Qatar, to save the 2015 nuclear deal. The European Union acted as the mediator. But the United States announced that the talks, which continued for two days, had failed. The US state department claimed that Iran had disappointed them. The Iranian Foreign Ministry dismissed the US allegations saying that Iran would not cross the Red Line by signing the nuclear deal.

Despite the failure of the talks, the European Union had reacted positively. It is necessary to make the 2015 nuclear deal successful through political negotiations. Iran cannot get a better deal than this. Therefore, Iran should sign this deal in time. Otherwise, United Kingdom can consider all the other options against Iran. Ford warned that fresh harsh sanctions also might be imposed on Iran through the European Union.

Iran was criticised even in the British parliament for the failure of the Doha talks. The British lawmakers are saying that the nuclear deal is impossible with the current Iranian government and are demanding that the old sanctions be imposed again. The accusation that Iran is increasing the speed of its nuclear program also was made in the British Parliament. Whereas the joint statement issued by the E3 countries from Europe, United Kingdom, France and Germany appeals to Iran to reduce the speed of its nuclear program.

Iran has significantly increased its enriched Uranium stock. The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) claimed last month that Iran has a huge number of centrifuges. Iran had removed the CCTV cameras installed by the IAEA in the nuclear projects. Mentioning these facts, the E3 countries have criticised Iran is implementing an aggressive nuclear program.
