25% US citizens willing to take up arms against the government

Washington: While the US impendence day is approaching, the gap between the US administration and the population is widening. The new report by the Institute of Politics claimed that nearly 25% of US citizens are willing to take up arms against the government. The report also points out that 50% of the population believes that the Biden administration is corrupt and fraudulent. Mid-term elections are scheduled to be held in the United States in the next five months, and the new report sounds warning bells for the Biden administration and the Democrat party.

The popularity and performance of the administration have been consistently declining, excepting the first one or two months, since Biden took over as the US President. The rising inflation, declining economy, refugee infiltration, violence and crime, and the increasing influence of the hypocritical leftist ideology and interference have created discontent against the Biden administration. The lack of coordination in the administration is adding to the woes of the Biden administration. Complaints are also being received that President Biden does not connect well with the media and the population.

Moreover, the report published by the Institute of Politics of the Chicago University becomes significant against this background. The report ‘Our Precarious Democracy: Extreme Polarisation and Alienation in our Politics’ was published on 30th June. Students from the University participated along with the Pollsters of the Republican and Democrat parties to prepare the report. Institute of Politics informed that one thousand voters, including supporters of both the parties and people with independent thought processes, were interviewed. It is not only that the rift between the two ideologies is widening, but the number of people following these ideologies more aggressively is increasing. The report blames even the media responsible for this.

The Institute of Politics said that feeling that they are foreigners in their own country is becoming stronger among nearly 48% of US citizens. 28% of the US citizens, including the independent and Democrat party voters, feel like taking up arms against the government. The report notes that hatred between the supporters of the two political parties has intensified further.

Last year, US analysts and former military officials warned about military rebellion and civil war. US analyst John Helman had made a sensational claim that nearly 20 to 30 million US citizens may take up arms to overthrow the Biden administration. Former US military officials had warned there is a possibility of a split in the US military after the 2024 Presidential elections culminating in a civil war. These warnings had the background of the violence on the premises of the US Congress last year.

After taking over as the President, Biden had assured that Uniting the US population would be his priority. But the new report indicates that President Biden and his administration have failed to unite the US population even after completing one and a half years.
