Meanwhile, Sweden has avoided imposing restrictions of any sort on the citizens. The Swedish citizens are expressing anger over the government inaction to lockdown and impose other measures, especially at a time when the situation in the neighbouring European countries is getting out of hand. The Swedish people fear the COVID-19 pandemic crisis would fester in the country just like the other European nations. On the contrary, reports of discontent are rising in France and Italy, both of which have currently imposed a lockdown in the country.

The southern part of Italy is under lockdown for the last four weeks, and the money with the poor is exhausted. They are now resorting to thefts and burglaries for food. If there is no improvement in the current situation, incidents of robberies and burglaries are feared would rise in these developed countries, causing an outburst of social discontent. The very fear has increased the demand and purchase of guns in the United States.
