We are living through the times of Third World War

Vatican City – In his address to the General Audience, the esteemed supreme priest of Christianity, Pope Francis, warned that we are all going through the times of the third world war. Even earlier, Pope Francis had made the world aware of World War III in clear words.

World War II erupted on September 1, 1939. Pope Francis invoked that as this completes 83 years, ‘May the memory of past experiences urge you to cultivate peace in yourselves, in your families, in social and international life.’ At the same time, citing the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, Pope Francis indicated that in today’s times, World War III is being played out in stages.

In his address to the General Audience on Wednesday, Pope Francis recalled that September 1 marked the 83rd anniversary of the outbreak of World War II. Simultaneously, the statements made by Pope Francis regarding the Third World War, citing the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, draw attention.

We are all living in the times of the Third World War. Pope Francis claimed that World War III is currently underway in stages. Even before this, Pope Francis had made statements about the Third World War that drew the attention of the whole world. Besides, Pope Francis had explicitly put forward his thoughts about the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. In April, Pope Francis warned that humanity was heading toward World War III and that this world war was not avoidable. Moreover, Pope Francis said in June this year that the Third World War had already been declared. Furthermore, Pope Francis expressed deep regret after the conflict in Ukraine broke out. Also, Pope Francis said that even before this struggle began, a country’s head of state had already given him the idea of this conflict.

In June, Pope Francis blamed the conflict that erupted in Ukraine was due to US and NATO aggression. It had a huge impact. There was criticism at the time that Pope Francis liberated Russia from the charge of invading Ukraine. Besides, the daughter of the closest associate of Russian President Vladimir Putin was killed in a car bomb explosion a few days ago. Pope Francis had expressed his grief over it. Pope Francis had said that those who were innocent were killed in the war. The ambassador of Ukraine had objected to this. Ukraine’s Ambassador noted that Pope Francis was confused between innocent people and war criminals. On that, the Vatican representatives clarified that the statements of the esteemed Pope should not be viewed from a political perspective.
