The US is planning a direct war against Russia, allegation by Belarus

Minsk: The head of Belarusian military intelligence, Major General Ruslan Kosygin, warned that the US is planning a direct war with Russia and its ally Belarus with the help of Poland. He cited that the possibility was confirmed by NATO’s rapid deployment of force and anti-ballistic missile systems in Eastern Europe. Reports of Russian President Putin allowing Russia’s nuclear weapons to be deployed in Belarus were published a few days back.

Major General Ruslan Kosygin said that the territory of Poland and the Baltic states is being turned into a staging ground, from which the US plans to unleash a new bloody conflict in Europe, targeting the Russian Federation and its allies. Major General Ruslan Kosygin brought attention to inciting statements made by some Polish politicians to invade western Ukraine and Belarus regions to reclaim the so-called historical Polish areas.

Major General Ruslan Kosygin claims that the proxy war against Russia and Belarus has not yielded much. Hence the western countries are now planning a direct war. He added that the conflict between Poland and the Baltic states would be like the Russia-Ukraine conflict.

Belarussian officials have warned that Belarus could launch attacks on Poland if the conflict escalates. A few days ago, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko alleged Ukraine of dragging Belarus into the war. Ukraine had denied these allegations. At the same time, Belarus’s military is deployed near the Ukrainian border, and Ukraine has accused Russia of using Belarus’s borders.
