Hyderabad: Union Education and Skill Development Minister Dharmendra Pradhan expressed confidence that India will lead the fourth Industrial Revolution. He further said that India is ready to play this role. Dharmendra Pradhan was speaking at a function organised by the IIT-H in Hyderabad. A few days ago, Prime Minister Modi claimed that India would lead the fourth Industrial Revolution.

In the olden times, India was a country playing the role of a client and not participating in the industrial revolutions. But the picture will change now. Union Minister Pradhan emphasised that India would be the manufacturing country in the fourth phase of the Industrial Revolution. Pradhan appealed that all the IITs in the country must play a vital role in this. Pradhan pointed out that during the Coronavirus pandemic, India proved to the world that it could become a manufacturing country.

Pradhan reminded us that the Indian pharma companies manufactured vaccines in such enormous volumes that the entire world was astonished.
