Ukraine conflict will end dominance of the West - Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor OrbanMore than five months have passed since the Russia-Ukraine conflict. During this period, the United States, European countries, and some allies supported Ukraine. But even in Europe, there is no unanimity regarding the support of Ukraine. Some countries like Hungary are constantly opposing. In the past few days, the Hungarian Prime Minister has criticized Europe on issues like the Ukraine conflict and sanctions.

In an interview with a German magazine, Orban also accused that the sanctions imposed on Ukraine were a failure. Orban said that these restrictions have backfired on Europe. At the same time, Orban also clarified that not all the countries were behind the United States in the Russia-Ukraine conflict.

Orban warned that China, India, Brazil, South Africa, Arab countries, and the African continent had not supported the role of the West in Ukraine. Therefore, in the future, this conflict may be the end of the dominance of the West. In a statement last month, the Hungarian Prime Minister claimed that a multi-pillar world order would emerge after the Ukraine conflict.

Unlike the Hungarian leadership, not all European countries have openly taken a stand against the United States and NATO. But the European countries that are members of NATO are also suffering the consequences of the conflict in Ukraine. The people of European countries are suffering due to scarcity of fuel and food grains. In such a situation, the United States and anti-Russian countries are being accused of prolonging this conflict instead of preventing the same in Ukraine. Due to this, some European countries are upset and their displeasure may come out in the open in the coming times.

Not only Hungarian Prime Minister Orban but also eminent analysts of the United States have warned that it is the United States, not Russia, that is bearing the dire consequences of flaring up the Ukraine conflict. American analysts pointed out that due to the conflict in Ukraine, Russia has become more self-reliant and Russia’s fuel exports have increased enormously during this conflict.

Additionally, the position of the USD as an international currency has been threatened by the Ukraine conflict, as Russia has begun trading in the Rouble and other countries’ currencies. Therefore, instead of the United States and European countries benefitting from the conflict in Ukraine, it has rather hurt their international influence, warned US analysts. Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban seems to have brought this matter to notice once again.
