It has been revealed that almost 300,000 migrants have illegally entered the United Kingdom through ‘Channel crossing’ this year. Earlier, it was revealed that some criminal gangs are behind this migrant influx. In this regard, efforts are being made in cooperation with France to decimate the gangs and stop the migrant influx. Even under former Prime Minister Boris Johnson, moves were underway to sign an agreement with France. But they failed at the last moment.

After taking over the reins, Rishi Sunak indicated prioritising this issue. The consensus on the treaty with France confirms it.
