Saudi Crown Prince visits Arab countries

Riyadh: – While the US and Iran are negotiating a nuclear deal in Vienna, political developments in the Gulf have gained momentum. Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman has left for an Arab tour. Iran’s controversial nuclear program is the main topic of this visit to the Middle East by Crown Prince Mohammed.

Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman began his tour to the Arab allies with the Oman visit. After this, Prince Mohammed will visit Bahrain, Qatar and Kuwait. The objective of the visit by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed is to reduce differences between the six-member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). However, it was not immediately clear if Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman would visit the UAE. But King Salman of Saudi Arabia has sent a letter to UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.  

Meanwhile, on condition of anonymity, an official said that the Saudi Arabian Crown Prince would discuss Iran‘s nuclear program and the threat posed by Houthi rebels in Yemen with the Arab allies.
