Iran will discuss nuclear deal only after US assurance: Iran foreign ministry

Tehran: – The United States should withdraw all the sanctions imposed against Iran, accept its mistake and assure that they will not withdraw from the nuclear deal again. Only then Iran will once again participate in the talks regarding the nuclear deal in Vienna.

Moreover, the moves to revive the Iran nuclear deal started after President Joe Biden took over the reins of the United States. Until June, the discussions were held at Vienna between representatives of the United States, the European Union, and Iran. But the negotiations were stalled after Ibrahim Raisi government came to power in Iran.

At the same time, Israel is accusing that the speed of the Iranian nuclear program has increased tremendously in this period. Iran is implementing its nuclear plan, avoiding participating in the talks for the nuclear deal. Israel has warned that Iran will soon acquire necessary nuclear weapons if not intercepted in time.

Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett met US President Joe Biden and suggested initiating ‘Plan B’. At the same time, Israeli leaders and military officials had indicated that airstrikes would be carried out to target Iranian nuclear projects. Israel even started air exercises for the purpose.

After that, a senior US official delivered a message that the window of opportunity would not remain open permanently for Iran. Iran has also announced that it will participate in the talks held in Vienna on the 29th of November. Therefore, claims are being made that the protracted negotiations between the United States, European Union and Iran will start once again.

In this scenario, the Iranian foreign ministry has put conditions in front of the United States. Iranian foreign ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh has asked for assurance from the United States. Khatibzadeh issued a warning that if the United States desires Iran to participate in the talks at Vienna, it should first comply with the Iranian conditions.
