President Trump's decision to withdraw military from Afghanistan is correct

Washington: US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo justified President Trump’s decision for US military withdrawal from Afghanistan, saying, ‘Terrorism does not originate only from Afghanistan. Therefore, don’t feel secured, just because of the US military presence in Afghanistan. The decision taken by President Trump to withdraw the military from Afghanistan is a correct one.’ Meanwhile, the Trump opponents are pointing out that terror attacks are on the increase in Afghanistan, while the Trump administration is busy justifying the US military withdrawal.

While talking to a news agency in the United States, Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo said that President Trump’s stand regarding US security was apparent. Pompeo said that bringing the US soldiers back, safely from Afghanistan, also was a planned campaign. Secretary of State Pompeo reminded that President Trump had already announced a few years ago, that the number of soldiers in Afghanistan would be reduced to 2,000.

‘Terrorism is a major threat to international security. Saying, but this terrorism does not originate only from Afghanistan, Pompeo indicated that the origin of terrorism lies in other regions too.
