Moscow: – Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the objective of the Russian military action in Ukraine is to disarm them and prevent them from treading the path of Nazism. Putin issued a stern warning that if any other foreign power tries to intervene, there will be an unprecedented Russian retaliation against that power. Although the Russian President did not name NATO and the United States, he has delivered a strong message to both.
The Russian President claimed that the Ukrainian government has tortured and conducted genocide on its population for the last eight years. The Russian action in Ukraine aims to provide security to the Ukrainian citizen against the atrocities from its government. At the same time, Putin said that Russia did not attack Ukraine, nor should it be considered one. Dmitry Peskov, the spokesman of the Russian President, said that the decision regarding ending the military campaign would be taken after the objectives declared by the Russian President get fulfilled.
