Pakistan will have to pay for atrocities in PoK – Defence Minister Rajnath Singh

Srinagar: ‘Pakistan is oppressing Indian people in ‘PoK’ (Pakistan Occupied Kashmir) in the name of human rights. Pakistan will have to pay the price. India has started the journey of the development of Jammu and Kashmir along with Ladakh. This journey will not be complete until it reaches Gilgit and Baltistan,’ Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has said. The Defence Minister has indicated that this Indian territory, which Pakistan illegally usurped, will be reunited with the country. The Defence Minister issued this warning to Pakistan while addressing the ‘Shaurya Diwas’ celebrations organised in Srinagar.

Pakistan will have to pay for atrocities in PoK - Defence Minister Rajnath SinghMoreover, Pakistan claims India has violated human rights in Jammu and Kashmir. But Defence Minister Rajnath Singh questioned the rights given to the people of PoK by Pakistan. The people of PoK are Indians and these people are facing inhuman atrocities at the hands of Pakistan. But Pakistan will reap what it is sowing. History proves that tyrants are punished for their deeds. The Defence Minister attacked Pakistan directly and said that Pakistan would be punished for the injustice done to the Indian people there.

‘India has started its journey of the development of Jammu and Kashmir along with Ladakh and has taken its development to new heights. But this journey of India’s development cannot be completed without reaching Gilgit and Baltistan,’ by saying this, the Defence Minister made Pakistan aware that India has not turned its back on the people of PoK. This warning issued by the Defence Minister to Pakistan on the occasion of ‘Shaurya Diwas’ is gaining significance. While Pakistan is trying to challenge India by raising the issue of Kashmir on the international platform, the Defence Minister pointed out that Pakistan is violating human rights in PoK. Pakistan’s foreign policy is limited to shouting globally that India is violating human rights in Kashmir. But Pakistan is not a country that respects human rights and the history of Pakistan on this front is dark. India’s leadership has consistently announced at the international level that these accusations from such a country against India cannot have any basis. Still, Pakistan has not stopped making fuss over this. In such a situation, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh made Pakistan aware of the situation in strong words on the occasion of ‘Shaurya Diwas’.

India had already warned that the Kashmir issue has been resolved and the problem remains only with Pakistan’s unauthorised occupation of PoK. Now, by expressing his determination to take India’s development journey to Gilgit-Baltistan to give justice to the people of PoK, Rajnath Singh has also sent the right message to Pakistan and the countries that support Pakistan.

While this statement of the Defence Minister is being published, the Chinese Foreign Ministry has advised that India and Pakistan should resolve the Kashmir issue through bilateral talks. A few days ago, Germany, which provoked India by demanding that the United Nations should intervene in the Kashmir issue, also accepted that Kashmir is a bilateral issue between India and Pakistan. But India has adopted a policy of not discussing Kashmir or any other issue with Pakistan. India has announced that there will be no talks with Pakistan unless Pakistan stops terrorist activities and does not take strict action against the masterminds of terrorists who carry out attacks in India.

At present, Pakistan may want to raise its prestige by holding talks with India. But talks, when Pakistan wants to have talks and war, when this country wants a war, cannot happen. National Security Adviser Ajit Doval warned a few months ago that India would go with the option it wants, whether war or talks.
