Pakistan is the mastermind of terror attacks in Afghanistan: Afghan Vice President Amrullah Saleh

Kabul: – ‘No matter how much Pakistan manipulates through propaganda, it does not change the reality and improve the image of Pakistan in my country. This is because the Pakistani military is the mastermind, facilitator and owner of the horrific terrorist attacks in Afghanistan, and that is the reality,’ slammed the Afghan Vice President Amrullah Saleh. The Pakistani government and serving and former military officials are criticizing the Afghan leaders for blaming Pakistan for their failures. However, Afghanistan insists that Pakistan is responsible for the Taliban’s bloodshed in Afghanistan and the international consequences are beginning to show.

For the past few days, Pakistani leaders and the military-influenced media, have been targeting the Ashraf Ghani government in Afghanistan. Pakistan has accused President Ghani of not wanting to step down despite the Taliban being ready for talks. At the same time, Pakistani leaders are claiming that there is no cooperation between the Taliban and Pakistan. Instead, Pakistani leaders and media are citing evidence of the sacrifices made for Afghans.

Afghan Vice President Saleh slammed Pakistan’s efforts to improve its image. Saleh said ‘No matter how much propaganda Pakistan launches, the reality and the image of Pakistan among Afghans will never improve’. Saleh also accused the Pakistani military of being responsible for the instability in Afghanistan.

Rahmatullah Nabil, former Afghan intelligence official, also confirmed Saleh’s allegations against Pakistan. Nabil said ‘Every day, a thousand Pakistani terrorists infiltrate Afghanistan to carry out violence’. In an interview with a US news channel, Noor Wali Mehsud, the head of the Taliban in Pakistan, contradicted Pakistan by admitting that 6,000 terrorists were involved in the conflict in Afghanistan.

Meanwhile, Pakistan is claiming that the Afghan army has lost faith in President Ashraf Ghani’s leadership and claims that 46 Afghan soldiers have taken refuge in Pakistan. But Afghan and international analysts claim that this is part of Pakistan’s malicious propaganda against the Afghan government.
