Seoul – North Korea, which claims to have long-range intercontinental ballistic missiles that can directly hit cities in the far east of the United States, made a new announcement on Friday. The North Korean news agency announced that they are preparing to hit the coasts of the United States and enemy countries with a radioactive tsunami. They also reported that the underwater drone was tested in the presence of dictator Kim Jong-un. North Korea has warned that the drone, capable of carrying nuclear explosives, could hit the enemy country’s coast with a radioactive tsunami.
Moreover, the 11-day ‘Freedom Shield’ war exercise between the US and South Korea ended on Thursday. At the same time, these two countries also announced the information about the ‘Live Fire’ war exercise in June. Not even twenty-four hours later, North Korea’s ‘Korean Cell News Agency’ announced a new test that North Korea’s militaries carried, an underwater drone called ‘Haeil’. Capable of jamming enemy radars, this drone can carry nuclear explosives. North Korean news agencies claimed this created a massive radioactive tsunami as it approached the enemy’s coastline.
Furthermore, North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un has inspected 29 tests of the Haeil drone. The last test of this drone was conducted on Thursday. The test was conducted between the two coastal cities of Hamhung and Simpho. The North Korean news agency said that the drone was detonated near the port of Hongwon Bay. Since 2012, the work has been secretly started on this and it was decided to join the said drone in the army last December, the North Korean news agency informed. Apart from this, North Korea has not disclosed the drone details. But Western analysts have said that this is a serious indication that North Korea is working on using its nuclear explosives in different ways.
Meanwhile, South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol had warned a few days ago that he would teach a lesson to North Korea, which is creating tension in the region by conducting provocative missile tests. At the same time, the President of South Korea has taken steps to increase military cooperation with America and Japan. In this background, South Korean media is claiming that North Korea has conducted this test to threaten South Korea. The British media is claiming that North Korea’s Haeil drone and Russia’s Poseidon drone are identical.
