Seoul: North Korea launched a ballistic missile on Saturday. This is the second test of ballistic missiles by North Korea in the last three days. But it is claimed that North Korea launched the ballistic missile from a submarine on Saturday. The United States had warned that North Korea was preparing for a nuclear test. After that, North Korea conducted this test within the next few hours. South Korean military informed that North Korea conducted a test launch of a short-range ballistic missile on Saturday at around 2 pm local time. The missile was launched from the Sinpo naval shipyard at South Hamgyong. The missile landed near the Japanese marine region.
Moreover, North Korea has started a spate of missile tests since the beginning. North Korea has demonstrated the advances achieved in military technology by testing long-range and express missiles. Last month, North Korea issued a warning to the United States by displaying a long-range missile during a military march past. North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un had announced a nuclear test during the same marchpast.
The United States and Japan claim that North Korea will conduct a nuclear test in May. The United States had warned that it would impose sanctions against North Korea for disturbing the security situation in the region in such a scenario.
