A new phase of the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians has begun. Over the past few weeks, there has been an intense backlash from Palestinians over the aggressive decisions taken by Israel. The number of terrorist attacks in Israel is on the rise and Israel has been warning to kill Hamas leaders who are instigating it. Israel has also prepared to use airstrikes for this purpose. At the same time, the Israeli agencies seem to be making efforts to increase their war preparedness and prepare the citizens for it.

On the other hand, Palestinian leaders have launched a movement to keep the memories of the Israeli massacre alive. As a result, Palestinian clashes with Israeli security forces are intensifying. Only last week, Shereen Abu Aqleh, a journalist with a news channel who had come to report on the encounters, was killed in the firing. The Israeli army and Palestinian militants have blamed each other for the killing.

Shereen, an American journalist of Palestinian descent, was killed in the conflict, with the international media blaming Israel. She is claimed to have been killed in an Israeli action. This has strained the relations between Israel and the United States. Against this backdrop, Israeli Defence Minister Benny Gantz will visit the United States to hold talks with US Secretary of Defence Lloyd Austin.

Before the talks, Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett clarified that anti-Israel propaganda would not affect his country’s policy. Prime Minister Bennett asserted this at a weekly meeting of the Israeli cabinet on Sunday. The Israeli Defence Forces will continue to crack down on terrorists without interruptions.

Prime Minister Bennett has warned that terrorists cannot be given a free hand under the pressure of anti-Israel propaganda. Through his statement, the Prime Minister of Israel seems to have warned the US in clear terms.
