Jerusalem/ Gaza: Israeli security forces issued a high alert after Hamas terrorists launched rocket attacks on Israel on Thursday night. Hamas launched the rocket attacks after clashes between Israeli security forces and Palestinians in the West Bank killed ten people. After this, Israeli warplanes entered the Gaza Strip and destroyed important places of Hamas. Although this conflict has stopped now, analysts are warning that it will flare up again. Qatari and international media say clashes broke out between Palestinians and Israeli security forces at a camp set up for refugees in the West Bank’s Jenin province on Thursday. The reason for the dispute has not been disclosed. But the dispute turned deadly, killing ten Palestinians in the clash. After these victims were killed in Israeli military operations, the anger of the Palestinians flared up. The terrorist organization ‘Islamic Jihad’ was holding hands in the refugee camp in Jenin. These terrorists were preparing for a major attack in Israel. Therefore, Israeli security forces took action in Jenin to arrest these terrorists. The Israeli security agencies informed that three terrorists of Islamic Jihad were killed in this. Islamic Jihad is a terrorist organization in Gaza. Israeli think tanks have warned that the influence of this organization has increased in Arab settlements in the West Bank in the last year.

After this operation of the Israeli army in Jenin, rockets attacked Israel from the Gaza Strip on Thursday night. A total of five rockets were fired towards Israel. Israel’s Iron Dome air defence system deployed near the Gaza border successfully intercepted three of these rockets. One rocket landed in an empty field in the territory of Israel and the last rocket landed in the Gaza Strip.

Moreover, no casualties were reported in these rocket attacks. But as usual, Israel responded to these rocket attacks from Gaza with airstrikes. At this time, Israeli warplanes destroyed an underground rocket manufacturing factory and training base of Hamas in Gaza.

But Israeli and international analysts warn that the conflict in the West Bank and rocket attacks from Gaza pose a major challenge to the government of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Since Netanyahu’s government came to power, weekend anti-Israel protests have been organized in the West Bank. In this, radical leaders are inciting the youth by giving anti-Israel slogans. Analysts in Israel have warned that this matter is very serious.

A few weeks ago, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken warned that simmering Palestinian resentment against Israel in the West Bank could lead to conflict. These analysts are drawing attention to this. Meanwhile, US Secretary of State Blinken is visiting Israel and the West Bank in the next two days. The conflict and bloodshed that preceded it in Jenin added to the new Israeli government’s difficulties.
