Iran will be responsible if a threat is created to the lives of US citizens

Washington: The United States issued a stern warning to Iran that Iran will be held entirely responsible if a direct or indirect threat, is created for US citizens or associates. Iran should be ready for the consequences. A few hours ago, Iran blacklisted one of the leading US study groups. Iran took this action accusing the group of economic terrorism against Iran. This is the US reaction to the action.

US State Department spokeswoman Morgan Ortagus, lambasted Iran while defending the leading US study group, ‘Foundation for Defence of Democracies’ (FDD) and its Chief, Mark Dubowitz. Ortagus warned ‘The illegal government in Iran, issued a warning against the US study group FDD and its chief. The United States has taken serious cognisance of the warning. If the safety of any US citizen is threatened directly or indirectly, Iran will be held responsible.

The US state department reprimanded ‘The Iranian government is jeopardising its own security with this action. The Iranian government should stop the false propaganda about US citizens and interests.’

A few hours ago, Iran announced sanctions against US study group FDD and Dubowitz. Iranian foreign ministry accused that FDD and Dubowitz have waged economic terrorism, against Iran, in connivance with the Trump administration.

Iran announced that the action against FDD and Dubowitz was in retaliation of the United States. At the same time, Iran indicated imposing sanctions against the US National Security Advisor John Bolton, Secretary for treasury Steven Mnuchin and Senior Senator Ted Cruz. Iran claimed that sanctions would also be imposed against the relatives of Bolton, Mnuchin and Cruz. The United States reaction is in retaliation to these statements.
