Indian External Affairs Ministry slams China for objecting to India-US joint war exercise

New Delhi: India has reprimanded China for objecting to the ongoing military exercise between India and the US Army in Uttarakhand. Arindam Bagchi, spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs of India, said that a third country does not have the authority to use the right of refusal on India’s military exercise with another country. Bagchi refuted the Chinese claim that the India-US military exercise violates the 1993 and 1996 border agreements signed by India with China. Bagchi concluded that the joint war exercise between India and the United States has nothing to do with these border agreements. However, the spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs of India warned that China, citing these agreements, should pay attention to the fact that the said agreements are being violated through its activities.

Indian External Affairs Ministry slams China for objecting to India-US joint war exerciseMoreover, about 100 km from the LAC with China, India and the United States are conducting ‘war drills’. China objected to this military exercise. India signed border agreements in 1993 and 1996 to promote peace and harmony on the border with China. China had criticized India was violating these agreements by conducting war exercises with the United States. Also, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Zhao Lijian warned that the United States should avoid the border disputes between India and China. India has reacted to this and the spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs of India, Arindam Bagchi, reprimanded China for this.

A third country cannot have the right to veto or comment on India’s military exercise with another country. Arindam Bagchi reprimanded China that India has not given this right to anyone. Bagchi also clarified that the military exercises conducted by India and the United States have nothing to do with the border agreement of 93 and 96 years. Bagchi reminded China that China had been continuously violating these agreements with India through its activities on LAC. Arindam Bagchi warned that China needs to reconsider its activities.

Earlier, China continued its operations in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir and LAC, challenging India’s security. China completely disregarded the objections raised by India. Although not mentioned directly, India’s Ministry of External Affairs reminds China of these activities. In such a situation, India is also making it very clear that China cannot have the right to object to India’s military exercises with the United States. Meanwhile, journalists questioned Bagchi about the situation caused by the spread of Corona in China. But Bagchi avoided talking about it, saying he did not want to discuss how other countries deal with Corona.

There is a strong reaction from the people there against the restrictions imposed to prevent the spread of Corona in China. The Chinese regime has been affected by this and for the first time in many years, it is seen that the people have taken to the streets against the Chinese communist regime. But the spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs of India has ‘reprimanded’ China saying that he is not keen to talk about this situation in China.

After the second wave of Corona in India, Chinese state media published photographs of corpses floating in Indian rivers. At the same time, China launched a rocket, while the Chinese media tried to make fun of India by showing photographs showing the burning pyres of corpses in India. To avenge this, India can take advantage of the current situation in China, but the spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs has clarified that our country will not do so.
