Indian Minister of Defence cites example of China & warns US -

Washington: ‘I cannot reveal what the Indian soldiers did at the Galwan Valley and the government’s decisions. But I can definitely say that a message has gone to China that India will not spare anyone, if India is harmed,’ Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said while addressing Indians in the United States. Besides, he said that India’s good relationship with one country would not deteriorate its relationship with the other country. He has issued a warning to the United States that is trying to pressure India by stating this.

Moreover, Russia had proposed to supply crude oil at a discount to India amid the ongoing conflict with Ukraine. While the crude oil prices have been inflating internationally, India has accepted this Russian proposal. Hence, the United States has started issuing a series of threats to India. In the recent Two-Plus-Two talks, the United States warned India over its cooperation with Russia. Thus, India called out the US hypocrisy by citing that the United States did not apply the same policy to the European nations, which purchase oil in surplus amounts as India. Besides, the United States itself is dependent on Russia for crude oil. As per the reports, India would also be importing coal from Russia alongside crude oil.

Furthermore, India appears to have taken steps to seize the opportunity in the Russian markets created due to economic sanctions of the United States and European nations on Russia. Hence, through this, India has indicated to the United States that the US threats to impose sanctions on the country will not affect it. At the same time, the United States has also started an anti-India campaign. In this situation, Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh cleared India’s stance at an event organised in the United States by the Indian embassy. He cited China’s example for making his point.

The Indian armed forces had achieved an amazing feat during the Indo-China army conflict at Galwan Valley. But, for some reason, its information cannot be made public, nor can its orders be revealed, said Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. But, the Defence Minister said that the message, the one who tries to harm India, won’t be spared has been conveyed.

The United States has prepared to impose sanctions and also warned to besiege India over human rights issues. The Indian Defence Minister has responded to this warning. He has conveyed that the United States will have to bear the impact if it tries to harm Indian interests. India will not deteriorate its relationship with another nation to maintain a good relationship with the existing one. India has never accepted a one-sided policy like this and it holds no trust in that. India believes in a policy, which would benefit both nations, said Rajnath Singh.

India’s image has transformed internationally and Indian prestige is increasing. No power in this world can stop India from becoming one of the top three superpowers, asserted Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.
