Biden administration should stop arms supply to Israel

Washington: A former US diplomat demanded that a government of extreme parties be formed under Benjamin Netanyahu’s leadership in Israel. At the same time, the United States should stop defending Israel on international platforms. The US officials alleged that Netanyahu’s government could use US weapons to take control of the Palestinian territories.

Against this background, Daniel Kurtzer, who served as ambassador to Israel during the tenure of former President George Bush, demanded that the Biden administration stop the unconditional supply of arms to Israel.

Aaron David Miller, the mediator appointed by the United States for peace in the Middle East, demanded that the United States stop supporting Israel on international platforms like the United Nations Security Council, the International Court of Justice and refrain from voting in support of Israel. Putting such pressure on a democratically elected government in Israel can rake up controversy. But Kurtzer and Miller claim that politics in Israel has never seen such a dangerous situation before. Meanwhile, there were already indications that the Biden administration was not happy with the election results in Israel.
