Jerusalem: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu replied to the threat Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah issued a few hours ago. Prime Minister Netanyahu warned that ‘If Hezbollah commits the foolish mistake of attacking Israel, we will launch a crushing attack on Lebanon.’ Prime Minister Netanyahu had, only a few days ago, made Iran aware of the fact that the Israeli fighter jets could reach Iran directly and carry out attacks.
Thirteen years have passed since the war between Hezbollah and Israel in 2006. Speaking at a function on occasion, Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah said that the level of readiness of the Hezbollah weaponry had increased significantly. Nasrallah claimed that the Hezbollah missiles could reach up to Tel Aviv, the financial capital of Israel. At the same time, the Hezbollah chief also warned that if the United States attacked Iran, they would ruthlessly bomb Israel and devastate the nation. The Israeli Prime Minister has, therefore, replied to the Hezbollah chief’s statement.
Prime Minister Netanyahu warned that ‘For the last few days, arrogant Nasrallah is making announcements of an attack on Israel. However, Hezbollah and Lebanon should always remember that Lebanon would have to pay the price for Hezbollah’s foolishness. Lebanon will suffer crushing attacks from Israel for such actions.’ For the last few days, Iranian leaders and military officials have threatened to attack Israel. The Iranian leaders have said that if the United States attacked the Iranian vessels in the Persian Gulf, Iran would destroy Israel.
Meanwhile, President Trump had clarified that the US in the current scenario had no plans to attack Iran, although the option for military action was always open. Moreover, the United States has maintained its current policy that it does not need military action, as the economic sanctions imposed against Iran, were showing positive results.
