Hamas-Hezbollah warn against defence cooperation between Israel and

Beirut: The terrorist groups Hamas and Hezbollah have panicked because of the Negev Conference between Israel and the Arab countries. Hamas claimed that Israeli domination was being created in the Gulf due to the conference. The chiefs of Hamas and Hezbollah have expressed a concern that dangerous cooperation is developing between Israel and the Arab countries. Both the terrorist groups incited that there is a need for all the anti-Israel groups to unite.

Two days ago, a special meeting of Negev was held in Bahrain’s capital Manama. The Israeli and Arab leaders discussed cooperation on the security front along with economic and trade cooperation. It is claimed that this meeting between the Israeli and Arab leaders is for preparing the ground against Iran before the upcoming visit of US President Joe Biden to the Gulf. Therefore, a reaction was expected against the conference. Hamas, Hezbollah and other Iran-affiliated terrorist organisations have expressed concerns regarding the conference.

Ismail Haniyeh, the leader of Hamas in the Gaza Strip, met the Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah in Lebanon. Along with these two groups, Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), Popular Front for Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) and other organisations also participated in the meeting. Hamas, Hezbollah and other terrorist organisations accused, ‘Negev Conference becomes the most dangerous conspiracy by Israel and the United States. Hezbollah and other terrorist organisations accused that the conference was held to reduce the intensity of the Hamas and Hezbollah conflict against Israel.’

Whereas Wasim Naeem, spokesman of the political wing of Hezbollah, accused that the Negev Conference was a major conspiracy by Israel. The Hezbollah spokesman criticised, ‘Israel has established its domination in the Gulf with this conference. Negev Conference cannot preserve the security and stability of the sector. This would result only in destruction and dispose Palestine and the Palestinian rights.’ Naeem also lashed out that the Arab countries participating in the Negev conference are justifying the atrocities showered by Israel on Palestinians.

Palestinian organisations have expressed concerns even in the past over the cooperation developing between Israel and the Arab countries. Iran has warned Arab countries that this is a dangerous development for the Gulf sector. Therefore, Iran and the Palestinian organisations seem to have united against the cooperation developing between Israel and the Arab countries.
