Hackers claim about Israeli defence ministry being under cyberattack

Jerusalem: – The hacker group Moses Staff claimed to have successfully launched a cyberattack on Israeli Defence Minister Bennie Gantz and the defence ministry. The group claimed that they had collected information regarding the Israeli Defence Minister along with the personal data of soldiers, photos and confidential documents. The hackers have posted this information on their website and the Telegram channel.

The hackers’ group has warned, ‘We’ve kept an eye on you for many years, at every moment and on each step. All your decisions and statements have been under our surveillance. Eventually, we will strike you while you would never have imagined.’ The group claimed to have hacked nearly 165 servers and 254 websites of the Israeli defence ministry. The hacker group claimed that it has about 11 Terabytes of data in its possession. The group posted current photographs of Defence Minister Gantz and his photographs while he was the Defence Chief. The hackers also claimed to have the information of the Israeli companies Electron Csillag and Epsilor.  

The Israeli defence ministry has not reacted to these claims. But as per the information given by the National Cyber Directorate of Israel, this could be possible due to a lacuna in the Microsoft software and said that nothing is alarming about this. Meanwhile, the Hackers group is Iranian and the concerned group became active just a month ago.
