Governor of US Florida state declares state of emergency to curb illegal

Washington: Governor of the US state of Florida has criticised the Biden administration for policies related to immigrants. The adverse effects of policies and the total failure of the Biden administration have put enormous stress on security as the States have limited resources to prevent the influx of immigrants. Therefore, Governor Ron DeSantis has announced an emergency in Florida and deployed National Guard in the border area.

As President Joe Biden took office, he immediately relaxed the policies against illegal immigrants. It caused a large-scale illegal influx of refugees in the US for the past two years. The immigrant issue in the border states has worsened, particularly on the US-Mexico border. Thousands of refugees are crossing the border every day, creating a major health and law and order challenge in these provinces. The local people are deeply angered about the developing situation. However, instead of taking cognisance of the issue, President Biden has chosen to ignore the problem. Therefore, the state took the drastic decision of imposing an emergency along the US-Mexico border.

Florida is the third state to impose an emergency after Texas and Arizona. Last year, the Governor of Texas, Greg Abbott, announced an emergency and deployed National guards along the border. Three of the border states declaring an emergency in succession is a worsening immigrant crisis and failure of the Biden Administration.

Florida has been experiencing a huge influx of refugees from Haiti and Cuba for the past few months. Nearly ten thousand refugees have illegally entered in the last six months. Hundreds of these refugees have been detained in temporary camps. Some refugees are being pushed to states controlled by the Democratic Party, causing a political conflict between the Democratic and Republican parties. The Republicans have continuously targeted the Biden administration for the policies on illegal immigration.
