Mexico City: Tensions in Mexico have increased following the arrest of Ovidio Guzmán-López, aka El Ratón, aka The Mouse. The conflict has ignited between the Sinaloa cartel, the world’s most notorious drug trafficker, and the Mexican military. Information has surfaced that the Mexican army has launched helicopter attacks, and the Sinaloa cartel has reportedly fired on fighter jets with machine guns. Aeromexico passenger plane was also fired in this conflict, causing terror for some time.
The Sinaloa cartel, a Mexican gang, is referred to as the world’s leading drug gang. The multi-billion dollar gang raised by Joaquín Guzmán, aka El Chapo, has started a parallel government in Mexico. Besides, the Sinaloa cartel has an independent army and submarines, experienced by the Mexican military two days ago.
Chapo’s son Ovidio alias Ratón, who led the gang for the past six years after the arrest of El Chapo, was arrested by the Mexican Army on Thursday. According to the country’s Defense Minister, Luis Cresencio Sandoval, the arrest was made in Culiacán, the capital of Sinaloa province. At this time, his gang attacked the Mexican army to defend Ratón.
The Mexican Army used Black Hawk helicopters to stop this gang. At this time, a video of a strong conflict between a Black Hawk helicopter and 25 vehicles of the Sinaloa cartel has emerged. 
But the Sinaloa cartel failed to save Ratón. The enraged gang then attacked the military and passenger airports in Culiacán.
Moreover, the attack destroyed two fighter jets of the Mexican Army. The Aeroméxico passenger plane at Culiacán airport was caught in the crossfire between the military and cartels, damaging the plane’s engine. Evacuation of the passengers of this plane was done safely after this. But there was fear among the passengers whether the incident had led to a major war.
Meanwhile, the Sinaloa Cartel’s agents have begun to take over Mexico by mounting attacks at various places. A video of Chapo’s gang taking control of the port had also surfaced, but factual information about this has not been published.
