Direct conflict may spark between US and Russia; Russian Ambassador

Washington: Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov issued a stern warning that if the western countries did not stop arming Ukraine, a direct conflict could be sparked between the United States and Russia. Military freight carrier aircraft, military vehicles and any other weapons carriers for Ukraine will be targeted by the Russian military. While speaking to a US news agency, Antonov claimed that the seeds of the Ukraine war had been planted eight years ago. In 2014, the western countries pulled down the elected government and brought a government functioning under the instructions of the western countries into power. This government developed a closeness with the European Union and NATO. The Ambassador criticised that the inhuman atrocities against the Russian supporters in eastern Ukraine have strengthened this conflict’s roots. Russia had already warned regarding the moves to include Ukraine in NATO. But NATO increased its military deployments near Ukraine, ignoring the Russian warning.
