Coronavirus cases in the world cross 8 million  

Washington: There is a consistent addition of new Coronavirus cases in the world and the number has crossed 8 million. The number of Coronavirus deaths in the world has reached 466,000. The number of cases in Russia, following the United States and Brazil, also has increased substantially crossing 535,000. At the same time, more than 82,000 patients have recovered from Coronavirus, in the last 24 hours.

As per information, posted on the Worldometre website, the number of Coronavirus cases in the world has reached 8,050,377 with an addition of 125,013 new cases, in the last 24 hours. 3,187 patients died of Coronavirus in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of Coronavirus deaths to 436,610. The number of patients who have recovered from the disease is 4,155,506, with an addition of 82,920 in the last 24 hours.   

19,669 new cases have been reported from the United States, taking the total number of Coronavirus cases to 2,170,156. The number of Coronavirus deaths in the United States has reached 117,951, with an addition of 360 deaths in the last 24 hours. The graph of Coronavirus has been observed to be declining, for the second successive day.   

Brazil has reported 43,396 Coronavirus deaths so far, with the addition of 559 deaths over last 24 hours. In Russia there was an addition of 8,246 new Coronavirus cases, taking the total number to 537,210. Russia reported 143 deaths in the last 24 hours., taking the total number to 7,091.  

The process of lifting the lockdown and restarting factories, tourism and airline services, has started in many countries. The United States and European countries have taken these steps and Greece has announced the country open for tourism. Germany, France, Belgium and Spain also have announced opening up of their borders.
