Chinese mobile network tower blown up in Pakistan

Local authorities are claiming that unknown individuals caused the blast. Last week there was a massive explosion in the North Waziristan province in western Pakistan. A mobile network tower erected by the Chinese company ‘China Mobile Pakistan’ was destroyed in the blast. The attack took place just two days after the internet service was launched. This has once again disrupted internet services in the area.

TTP attacks on Pakistan’s border have increased since the Taliban established its rule in Afghanistan. There are reports of TTP terrorists attacking the Pakistani army in the Waziristan, Swat and Kurram regions. TTP has imposed its rules in some parts of these regions and has announced that Pakistan’s laws will not apply here. There are also reports of Pakistani soldiers running away, leaving their vehicles and weapons behind.
