China launches hotline to report defamatory comments against Communist Party

The extreme intolerance and hypersensitivity shown against the criticism indicate the insecurity of the Chinese Communist Party.

Stringent restrictions have been imposed on the internet in China. The social media used freely by the world is not available to the Chinese people. China has always prevented social media companies from entering the country. The Chinese communist party has its social media and any comments and criticism against the Communist party are not tolerated on this media. Despite this, the CAC has started the hotline to crush any voices raised against the Chinese communist party.

The Chinese communist party is completing 100 years in July. It seems that this hypersensitivity is to prevent any criticism against it before the occasion. Efforts to malign the history and the achievements of the communist party will not be tolerated. CAC has appealed that everyone should cooperate with this and use the hotline if any such efforts are noted.

Only last week, a 19-year-old youth was arrested for making anti-national statements. Before that, the people asking ‘How many Chinese soldiers were killed in the conflict in Ladakh and whether these soldiers were awarded national honours?’ were imprisoned. This youth had expressed regret that the Indian government awarded national honours to its soldiers martyred in the Galwan Valley, but China did not do the same.

Terming this as a major crime, action was taken against the youth. The hotline announcement suggests that the intensity of such actions will only increase in the future. A contrasting picture of China, a country that believes that it has the economic, diplomatic, and military might become insecure with criticism on the internet, is being portrayed globally.

It has once again been announced to the world that the Chinese communist regime is grappled with fears that if the voices being raised against the communist regime become stronger, they will transform into an agitation. The rule of the communist regime is different from the rest of the world. The communist party has spread the belief that the communist party regime is the country. The Chinese communist party has created strong barriers to prevent the entry of the democratic ideology into China. The structure has been built that the Chinese military will be loyal only to the communist party. The communist party expects no one to speak against it and not find flaws in the system. The fears of the Chinese communist party that cracks will develop in this system only show that everything is not well in that country.
