Aftermath to Berlin attack FBI warns of terrorist attack in the US

Washington : As an aftermath to the terrorist attack in the ‘Christmas Market‘ in Berlin, capital of Germany, the ‘Federal Bureau of Investigation‘ (FBI) and Internal Security Departments  in US have issued warnings of a possible terrorist attack in US. As per information from the websites of ‘IS‘ and its supportive groups, lists of places of worship as well as crowded places in US have been marked for terrorist attacks. As a result of this,  the warnings have been issued.

Bulletins have been sent by the ‘FBI‘ and the ‘Department of Homeland Security‘ to all the Police Departments and Security Agencies in US indicating a possibility of terrorist attack. ‘IS supporters have been advised to attack crowded places during festivals and holidays and places of worship. Police agencies therefore, should be vigilant on suspicious movements in US’, is the message issued. The sources have also clarified that the warning has been issued as a precautionary measure as a list of crowded and religious places have been marked as possible targets on the websites of  ‘IS‘ and its supporters.

On account of this warning, a suspect has been arrested in the State of Arizona on charges of supporting and helping the ‘IS’. The suspect is Derrick Thompson alias ‘Abu Talib Al- Amriki‘. He has been arrested from Phoenix in the State of Arizona on the charges  of trying to establish communication with ‘IS‘ and attempting to purchase a gun.

Just last month, a young ‘IS‘ supporter at the Ohio University knocked pedestrians on the roadside with his car and then wielded a knife to attack them.
