Will act against Iran if we receive orders from President Biden: Head of US Central Command

Controversial issues were discussed at a meeting between Iran and officials from the Atomic Energy Commission. However, the US State Department has stated that it will participate in the talks, which will begin in Vienna on Monday.

But the head of the United States Central Command took a different stand. ‘According to President Biden, Iran will not be nuclear-armed. Efforts are on at the political level for this. But the Central Command always has different plans ready. We can definitely implement them if we get orders,’ said General McKenzie, head of Centcom, warning of military action. Speaking on Iran’s nuclear program, General McKenzie expressed concern.

‘Iran is very close to making an atomic bomb. However, Iran has not decided to build an actual atomic bomb. But if the need arises, Iran is ready to build an atomic bomb in the shortest possible time,’ said McKenzie, adding that Iran has advanced technology in its nuclear program. Although the head of CENTCOM has warned Iran of military action, leaders and officials in the Biden administration are still opposed to military action against Iran.
