5 Hizbul terrorists arrested in Jammu & Kashmir’s Kupwada

Srinagar: The module of Hizbul Mujahideen outfit was destroyed in one action carried out by the security forces in Kupwara, Jammu and Kashmir. Moreover, ammunition was recovered at large from these terrorists. Two days ago, the Indian security force had arrested six overground workers of the Lashkar-E-Taiba.

On Tuesday, the security forces undertook a search campaign in Lopra and Lolab in Kupwara after they received information. Meanwhile, the security forces attained success in arresting five Hizbul militants. Parvez Ahmed Bhat (22), Altaf Ahmed Mir (35), G.H. Mohd. (35), Nazimuddin Gurjar (44) and Abdul Qayum (29) are the terrorists that were arrested.

Earlier, on Saturday, the Special Operations Group in Jammu and Kashmir had arrested six terrorists. The militants were arrested against the background of terror funding. A few days ago, Mudaseer Farookh Bhat was arrested. In the interrogation, it was revealed that Bhat had a close connection with the Lashkar. Besides, the terrorists were arrested as per the information provided by him.

Over the last few months, actions have been carried against the terror outfits and their allies. At the same time, efforts are being made to seize the financial aid provided to the militants. This year, so far, 150 terrorists have been slain. Moreover, the militant outfits have no leaders left due to the action by security forces. Also, fifty Hizbul Mujahideen terrorists are dead. The terror outfits are in a major shock due to such actions by the security forces.
