Washington: – The Coronavirus rampage in the United States has claimed 44,845 lives till date, and 2,571 lives were lost in the last 24 hours. The group centre for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) from the United States warned that the number of deaths, due to the pandemic, will increase with time. The increasing number of deaths around the globe is also becoming a cause for concern.
So far, the pandemic has claimed 180,578 lives around the world, and there are nearly 2.6 million positive cases found. 25% of the deaths reported in the world are from the United States. In the last 24 hours, 2,571 deaths were reported from the US, which includes 474 deaths in the New York State. The deaths in the old age homes have been included in the number of deaths reported since the last few days.
The pandemic claimed 763 lives in the last 24 hours, and the total number of deaths in this country has crossed 18,000. As per the information published by John Hopkins University, there are 133,495 Coronavirus cases in the United Kingdom. British Health Minister, Matt Hancock, warned that the Coronavirus pandemic was at its peak in the United Kingdom.
Meanwhile, the number of deaths was 435 in Spain and 412 in Italy, taking the total number of deaths in the European continent above 109,000. In Latin America, the number of fatalities has reached 4,358 with 2,769 deaths being reported only from Brazil. The number of cases in Latin America has reached 92,000. Whereas, the pandemic has claimed 1,206 lives in Africa.
