US should not interfere in India-China border dispute, Chinese defence ministry slams the US

Beijing: – India and China are holding discussions on the border dispute. China has warned that there is no need for the United States to interfere in the process. The Chinese defence ministry issued this warning while attacking the reaction given by the United States over the India-China border dispute. But at this time, while China is discussing the border issues with India, as per reports, it is also preparing to supply Howitzer guns and super-advanced drones to Pakistan against India.

Moreover, 14 rounds of talks have been held between the Indian and Chinese military to solve the dispute over the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Ladakh. Although the tension in certain parts has been successfully reduced, the tension is far from over. The Indian army chief consistently reminded of it, and he said that the Indian Army is ready to counter any misadventure in the region. According to China, the relations on the trade and other fronts between the two countries could be normal despite the dispute on the LAC. But India has dismissed the claim. The Indian leaders have pointed out that China cannot expect to maintain normal relations with India on trade or any other front with thousands of soldiers deployed on the border.

Even after this, China made frantic efforts to pressure India. China even used propaganda war for this. Creating a façade that the Chinese military is dominating the LAC in Ladakh, the Chinese Army published the claims. But this propaganda war hardly had any effect on India. The Indian Army deflated the Chinese claims with accurate information published from time to time. There are indications of change in the Chinese approach to realise that the pressure tactics are not working against India.

Indications are that the warning issued to the United States not to interfere in the India-China border dispute is a part of the changing Chinese approach. Some analysts claim that China seems to be preparing to reconcile with India on realising that the pressure tactics are not working against India. But while China is making these moves, reports are being received that China is also preparing to supply Howitzer guns, drones and fighter jets to Pakistan.
