India and Israel share deep friendship: Israeli PM Naftali Bennett

Jerusalem: – Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett said that India and Israel are intimate friends. The diplomatic ties between the two countries completed 30 years. The Indian Prime Minister had said that the time is right to take the bilateral cooperation to new heights. The Israeli Prime Minister posted a video expressing gratitude for this. He has emphasised in the video that India and Israel are intimate friends.

Prime Minister Bennett added ‘We are thankful to the Indian Prime Minister for the lead taken in developing cooperation with Israel. India and Israel are countries of different sizes. But there are many things common between the two countries. Glorious legacy, traditional affection, latest inventions, and technological skills are the common elements between the two countries. The partnership between the two countries has only become stronger while the diplomatic relations are completing 30 years. This is a matter of major hope for both countries. Prime Minister Bennett expressed confidence that both the countries could scale new heights with cooperation.

Israeli Prime Minister is scheduled to visit India this year. Confidence is being expressed that this visit of the Israeli Prime Minister will further strengthen the relations between India and Israel. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also said that considering the current developments on the international stage, the importance of India-Israel cooperation had increased tremendously. Therefore, it has been revealed that both countries are willing to cooperate on various fronts. Both the countries are particularly benefited by the India-Israel cooperation on the defence front.

India and Israel have jointly developed Barak-8 missiles. Currently, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), a target of the Houthi rebels from Yemen, wants these missiles. It is claimed that the UAE is in talks with India and Israel. But this could not be confirmed on the official level.
